Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Atlanta

Intimate, unhurried, & beautifully yours — pre-wedding photoshoots

Capturing Your Love, Your Way

Before the wedding day arrives with all its excitement, schedules, and emotions, a pre-wedding photoshoot gives you something different — a calm, joyful moment that belongs just to the two of you. It’s a chance to step away from the planning, spend quality time together, and let your love show naturally in front of the camera.

In Atlanta, this moment becomes even more meaningful. The city offers everything from quiet parks to vibrant streets and breathtaking skyline views, making it easy to create photos that feel personal rather than staged. But what truly matters isn’t the location — it’s your connection, your smiles, your laughter, and the way you interact when you forget the camera is even there.

A relaxed experience, not a photoshoot “session”

Many couples arrive feeling a little shy or unsure, and that’s completely okay. You don’t need to know how to pose, act, or look “perfect.” Instead, the focus is on making you feel comfortable and natural. You might walk together, talk, share inside jokes, or simply stand close — and that’s where the real magic happens. Those small, genuine moments create photos that feel warm, honest, and timeless.

A session that feels like a date

Before Your Session

We’ll have a relaxed conversation about your personalities, relationship, and what you’d love your photos to feel like. Adventurous and outdoorsy? Soft and romantic? Moody and dramatic? We’ll plan the location, timing, and approach around you.

During the Session

Most pre-wedding sessions in Atlanta run between 90 minutes and two hours. We’ll usually visit one or two locations during golden hour — that warm, soft light just before sunset that makes everything glow. So the images feel alive and real.

After the Session

Once we’ve wrapped, we’ll begin editing with care — colour grading and refining each image to match the mood and feel we discussed. Your gallery will be delivered within a few weeks.

Ready to start the story?

Tell us about you, your partner, and what you’re dreaming of. We’ll take it from there — no pressure, no sales pitch, just a genuine conversation about creating something beautiful together.

Why couples choose a pre-wedding shoot in Atlanta

Couples often choose this experience because they want more than standard wedding portraits. These images become part of their love story — used for invitations, welcome boards, reception slideshows, or simply framed at home as a memory of this beautiful chapter in their lives. More than that, the day itself becomes a cherished memory of spending time together before everything gets busy.

Style Guidance: You don’t need to overthink your outfits — but a few simple principles make a big difference in how your pre-wedding portraits look and feel.

Photos that feel real, not rehearsed

At the heart of every great pre-wedding shoot is your relationship — the way you care for each other, the way you laugh together, and the quiet moments you share. That’s what makes your images truly special and different from everyone else’s.

Real Love Stories We’ve Captured in Atlanta

Things couples often ask

How far in advance should we book our pre-wedding shoot?

We recommend booking at least 2–3 months before your desired session date, especially for spring and autumn which fill up quickly. If you need photos for save-the-dates, plan for the session to happen at least 4–5 months before you need to send them out.
We always have a rescheduling plan in place. Light overcast weather can actually be wonderful for portraits — it acts as a giant softbox and reduces harsh shadows. If there’s heavy rain or storms, we’ll reschedule at no charge to a date that works for you both.
Totally normal to feel that way — almost everyone does. I don’t make you pose like models. We just talk, move, walk around, laugh, and let things happen naturally.
No. Wear something that feels like you. If you’re comfortable, you’ll look great in photos.
Nope. I’ll guide you in simple ways — like walking, talking, holding hands, or just standing close.

Most sessions run about 60–90 minutes, which gives us enough time for multiple locations, outfit changes, and different lighting looks.

You’ll typically receive your professionally edited images within 1–2 weeks in a secure online gallery you can download, share, and print.
I charge around $300 to $1,200 for a pre-wedding or engagement session — this typically includes a 1–2 hour shoot and a set of edited images. For full-service packages with multiple locations, outfit changes.
